Moonlit Majesty is now available!!!

She is the mother of the werewolf race and the heroine that her people have waited over a century to be saved by.
He is the forbidden fruit that caused her banishment and the key to her return.

When the man Zaira blames for the curse hanging over her Pack appears to ask for her help, her first impulse is to rip his throat out, but Addix has been cursed as well.
The two must work together to defeat a common enemy, a dangerous journey which brings them closer yet threatens to separate them forever as they struggle to choose between love and duty.

The 4th installment in the Moonlit series tells the story of the mysterious White Wolf and how forbidden love created an entire race of shapeshifters.

What I'm Working On ...

I've decided I need to be more strategic with my release schedule and work accordingly. So ... here's what I've come up with.

1)  The Moonlit series is my bestselling series and I know readers have been awaiting the White Wolf's story so I am working as quickly as possible to get that one finished and released by March.

2)  Now that I've got the rights back on the books in my Blood Revelation series which were not released by Imajinn upon the publisher's passing, I need to promote that series.  Blood Curse and Slayer's Prey are still available through the publisher and I have released Witch's Net and Siren's Snare myself, at much better pricing, I think. :)
This series is full of my best writing. I am more proud of the books in this series than anything I have ever written. This series is closest to my heart and I would be thrilled for it to reach more readers. I think the $7 ebook pricing on the first two books in the series hurt me, but those are the books still under the publisher's contract so I'm unable to do anything about pricing on those.
So after finishing up Moonlit Majesty I will be working on a prequel novella to The Blood Revelation series and will be releasing it as the new first book in the series. Priced no higher than .99, this will be an introduction to the series and hopefully draw in readers.

3) After releasing the Blood Revelation prequel I will begin work in a new area. I will be releasing my very first horror/thriller genre work this year, under the pen name of Raymond Lee. I plan on contributing to the world of Wayward Pines, via Amazon's new Kindle Worlds program which basically allows authors to publish fanfic. I will be doing this to introduce myself to readers of the genre. I will also be releasing the first book in my zombie series under that pen name.

I have a ton more books that need writing, lots lined up in the cannon, but these are what I'm focusing on first. I'm planning projects out based on what will most likely sell, and generate sales for what has already been released. The 10-hours a day at the day job is killing me. I'm ready to write full-time. I just have to get the income where it needs to be to do that. :)

So that's the plan. If I don't post for a while, it's because I'm busy cranking this stuff out.

Happy Reading!

Covers For Upcoming Releases

2013 Reflections and 2014 Goals

*sigh* I'd intended on posting something on New Year's but I was sick in bed from 12/31 through 1/3 so it didn't happen.

First, I'd like to thank my readers, old and new, for making 2013 my best year as an author. I sold over 30,000 books!!! Prior to 2013, the most I'd ever sold in a year was around 500.  The trick , I guess, was getting my rights back and releasing the books again on Amazon. All by myself. New covers, more affordable pricing ... It worked.

On a personal note, my lifelong battle with depression really took a hit in 2013. I just couldn't shake it off as I have in previous years. I missed a lot of days at the day job, even went on a month-long leave during which time an anti-depressant I'd been prescribed ended up giving me such a bad reaction one of my hands was paralyzed for a little while.

I'd planned on writing a slew of books in 2013, but due to these issues, that didn't happen.

I'm feeling better now, though I still stay pretty tired all the time.

2013 still had quite a few good moments:
I finally got to visit Baltimore, MD. Loved it.
I met David Cook not once, but twice.
Made three trips to Tennessee, my favorite place in the world. Although, one of those trips was a trip to Nashville and I wasn't impressed with it. I went for a David Cook concert. I was very impressed with that. :)  J.R. Rain purchased one of my books. Pretty awesome since I'm a fan of his books.
I had THREE books on the Kindle Top 100 lists at the same time.
I even made the Kindle Top 100 authors list. (Damn, I wish I was still on it. lol. )

Most importantly, I proved I could make real money writing. Sales have declined in recent months, but I intend to release new material and do some promo to get those sales back up. This is what I want to do , what I NEED to do. Writing is a life-long passion, and the best job for me. I am hoping 2014 is the year I can "retire" from working for others, and write full-time.

I have a lot planned for 2014:

Moonlit Majesty (Moonlit #4) , the White Wolf's story

Hide and Seek ,  a thriller written under the pen name of Raymond Lee

Possibly a novella written in the Kindle World of the Wayward Pines series by Blake Crouch (also under the pen name, Raymond Lee).

Blood Revelation #5 (untitled as of yet) , Christian's story

Immortal Rage ;  Blood Revelation #6

... and hopefully about 4 other books.

It's difficult writing and releasing books when you are constantly working overtime at the day job. I hope this is the year I can kiss a need for the day job goodbye and devote 40 hours a week to WRITING. Then I could get all these stories out of my head and onto paper, or an e-reader.    :)

Happy New Year, everyone. I hope all of us reach our dreams. :)

Met David Cook Again :)

One of these days my hair's gonna look decent in a picture.

Oh well. David's beautiful enough for the both of us. :)

I had VIP tickets so I got to see the sound check and meet him before the concert. We actually had a little conversation this time, much better than the conversation we had in Nashville which was just me saying "hey" and him replying "hey."  Fortunately my hoodie turned out to be a good conversation starter because it's not like I can think around him... lol.

One of my videos from the show:

Love this guy.
Hope to see (and meet!) him again.

Oh...yeah... almost forgot...
