Gettins My Edumacation

Well, I've been unemployed since August and can't even get an interview so... I'm going back to school. Yup. I just filled out umpteen different forms and I am set. I will be taking online classes through University of Phoenix and going for an associate's degree in business. Hopefully that will help me to get a better job (or at least A job).
I still need to go to the unemployment office (Happy happy joy joy) and make sure this course is covered. If so, I'll be able to stay on unemployment for another 18 months while going to school. Oh, I'll still be looking for work, believe me. Unemployment doesn't give you health insurance. But it'll be nice to not have to worry about suddenly having no income whatsoever coming in. Hopefully just by being IN school, I can land a good job.

Blood Revelation, Book #4 is DONE!!!

Oh my goodness... These Blood Revelation books always exhaust me. I LOVE them, but by the time I reach the last few chapters I'm sooooo ready to be done with the writing process. All the action and emotion is so overwhelming.

I just finished Book #4 and I can not wait to share the story with everyone. I loved Book #1, Book #2 will FOREVER remain an all-time favorite, Book #3 was great but ... Book #4 grabbed me by the guts and dragged me through emotional hell like the first two did, reminding me why I LOVE this series so much.

The writing of this book went a little differently, as well. I know I've said before that when I write the characters take over. That's true, but to some extent I'm still there orchestrating. With this book, the characters just hi-jacked the whole thing and there were things that happened that I didn't even know about until they happened! It was insane.

Anyway. it's done. After working diligently to meet deadline (and I came in well ahead of my 2/1 deadline, thank you very much) I can now READ A BOOK FOR MY OWN ENJOYMENT! Oh, I have a To Be Read pile calling to me, believe me. I am diving in there tomorrow. I think I'm going to take a breather from vampires and read about some cowboys...

Repeat of the Same Cover Couple Offenders

So... We all recall the cover of my very first e-book which featured "Adam & Brynn" on the cover:






And then came Anne Kane's book where "Adam & Brynn" made an appearance:

Apparently "Adam & Brynn" have gotten a little bored & decided to add another guy to spice up their sex life?

It's so sad it's funny how these same cover models are used over & over on e-books. There's one model that is used as the hero on so many e-books I've decided to name him. I call him Stud Brockman. I think I'm going to start collecting the covers I see him on and post them all together on here. I bet I can get at least twenty...

Anyhow, if you see "Adam & Brynn"" anywhere else let me know! I'm curious just how often tehy get around. Just think of all the covers they graced BEFORE mine. ( - ;
